How to Manage a Conference Call

If you’re an executive manager newly charged with holding weekly or daily conference calls, knowing what you are doing is essential. You may receive the benefit of a few pointers on holding Conference Calls, or you may have been lucky enough to be exposed to a skilled conference call leader in the past. If you’re not so confident about your conference call organizational skills, a few basic guidelines can help.

First, you must establish that you will be using a top quality conference call service and telephone equipment. Conference calls that are continually interrupted, are hard to hear or that are dropped will destroy any hopes you have for effective communication.

Second, be sure everyone that will participate is aware of the conference call and is scheduled to be present on the call on time. Participants coming and going throughout your call will be even more disrupting than they would be if they entered and exited a room where you were holding a face-to-face meeting.

To establish conference call protocol, it is a good idea to send out a reminder the day before the call along with key information. This information should include the conference call access number, the call-in time (schedule a few minutes prior to the call’s start time), the topics to be discussed and a list of participants.

Offer Your Customers Wholesale Reading Glasses

Retail is a lot of work, and it’s often difficult for store managers and owners to remember exactly why it’s so rewarding. Making sales can be exciting, but there are much more profitable, less challenging ways than retail to enjoy the thrill of the close. If you’ve made your career in retail, hopefully it’s the customers that ultimately make your hard work worthwhile.

The managers and owners who often do the brunt of a store’s purchasing don’t always get the chance to provide one-on-one customer service, but they still serve their stores’ patrons in important ways. One of the most important forms of customer service they offer every week is the products they stock and display for the convenience of their customers.

If you enjoy bringing in new products your customers will appreciate, purchase and enjoy, consider bringing in a display of Wholesale Reading Glasses. Unlike bulky racks of reading glasses, Wholesale Readers keep themselves organized. They come in a variety of terrific styles and each display features a full range of lens magnifications.

Each pair of Readers is safely enclosed in a case that stacks neatly into an attractive countertop box display. Customers appreciate the added value the case provides as well as the fact that their new glasses haven’t been scratched, dropped or mishandled.
